Grounding Kit
Electrons flow in a circuit from the negative side of the battery to the positive side of the battery (that is why physicists will argue with the direction of the current in the circuit).
Engineers represent current in the opposite direction of electron flow, as in the diagram. It does not matter what convention you follow for current direction. The important thing to keep in mind is how much current flows through the circuit, and that you stick to only one of the models when analyzing a circuit.
For a circuit to have current, there has to be a path (i. e. wire) and a battery. A circuit also has a resistance, which slows down flow of electrons.
If the path is broken, current can not flow. The battery supplies the voltage. The top portion of the circuit in a car is represented by the positive battery cable going to the fuse box and to all the accessories (radio, wipers, lights, etc). Each accessory has a resistance. As more accessories are added, the resistance drops, and more current flows through the circuit. To save money, car manufacturers use the car metal for the bottom part of the circuit, instead of running a ground wire to every device.

Forums are great, aren't they?
Ok, ok, I aggree with the "flow" of electrons. However, I was refering the standard "convention" of "current" flow.
All is well.
Thanks for everyone's input and interest.

Now we just need NOLACLS to meet up and get this made.
But here are a few links I quickly found:
OMFG!!! It started with flying pink elephants but now I've seen it all...
Got the wires put on yesterday
I have some pics if someone can host them for me. I have not got a chance to really drive it and see if I can tell a difference but it sure looks purdy :P
One thing im not sure about is it might have taken care of that ticking noise coming from the power steering pulley area. After I started it up I didn't hear the ticking but I don't know if it starts only after the car is warmed up. I will fool with it some more and see whats what.
I really had a great time meeting insane...great guy and did a top notch job on getting the wires all done up nicely. I think he has his instructions on a install and has all the measurements to get these out to you guys.

Ill put the pics up for ya Nola.... m_cloud@vips.com (note that there is an underscore ( _ ) between the m and the cloud
Looks great!
Insane's grounding kits for the Z are excellent quality and much lower priced than any others. I'm ordering a set for my Z soon.
I was the one who gave Lou Insane's contact info to see if it would work for the CL - I'm glad it's working out for you guys! Definitely recommended

Yeah I was thinking that it would help with stero noise as well...but I dont have my system back in yet. No MC they do not go thrrough the CAI...they are just in the area.
Astro could you snap a pic of them for me...I would like to see where they attach

Hey Bro,
Nice job with the grounding kit. I was wondering how much is it and if I ordered one, how long will it take to get it? Also, I would like one in blue. The blue 2nd down from the sample wire color pic you posted. Also, how big are the wires, what size gauge? Well, if you can get back to me ASAP, I can probably send you the money via paypal. Thanks
BTW: InSaNeAmine, open up your PM box. Why do you have it closed. People who are interested and would like to send you a message, can't. You should consider opening it!

Hey every one!
WoW! I can hardly believe all of the interest here. I figured you guys would wait until an unbiased review was written at least. Guess not.
Anyway, once I have the instructions ironed out, I’ll post them for anyone interested in a DIY.
I don’t know how it goes around here but, most forums frown on commercial activity in a thread if you are not a sponsor. I would prefer not to use this thread as a direct marketplace. I have contributed solely for information and debate purposes. I wanted to share with the Acura community what I gained from my Z.
I do not have my PM opened because I do not check the site everyday – I can’t. For anyone interested in the particulars of the Grounding Kit…
Please, email directly at: InSaNeAmine@cox.net. I’ll be more than happy to answer any of your questions.
Generally speaking, I usually get the kits out the very next day.
I use only 4 gauge audio quality 99.9% oxygen free, high grade, high stranded copper wire. Each wire is insulated with a chemical and heat resistant coating able to withstand gasoline, oil, and temperatures of up to 125 degrees C.
The terminals are gold plated ring terminals which maximize the conductivity at the connection points and inhibit corrosion. Each terminal is double crimped for strength and covered with industrial polyolefin heat shrink for that professional looking finish.
Complete instructions are included along with all necessary bolts, washers, and cable ties.

Insane, I have one qwik qwestion, I have been watching this thread closely to see your progress. Kit looks AWESOME!!
My question is this, why dont I see the kit hooked to the battery??? Isnt this the whole idea behind the kit??? Or maybe you have it hooked to the same place that the battery ground connects too???
Let me know!! THANKS!!
