Grinding Noise In 2nd Gear!!!!!!
The last few weeks I've been noticing a grinding noise when I shift from 1st to 2nd, but only when I shift hard. I hope its nothing to worry about, because I don't seem to be having any other problems in all other gears. Like I said, it's only when I shift hard and it only happens from 1st to 2nd. Anyone know what it could be from, or if it's anything serious that I should worry about?!!

I've never had any grinding on my stock 6spd. 5yrs/65K miles so far...
I did have some notchiness on the 1-2 shift when the car was new during the winter (cold fluid), but that went away after the 1st year...
I only get grinding when I miss a shift, and let the clutch out before I'm in (2nd) gear... which might happen once a year...

I get a bit of notchiness if I'm shifting mildly from 1st to 2nd, typically in the 3000-3500 range, but it doesn't happen consistently. It never happens if I shift past 4K.
When it happens to me, it only seems to occur if I rev the engine slowly and shift in the 3.5-4k range. If I get into the gas more aggressively or shift above 4k, it doesn't seem to happen and it's definitely not a grind it's just notchy.
