Why does everyone think that this is my GRILL?....

all I did was send 3 e-mails to the company... starting my way from the bottom of the ladder and working my way up... to the big guy....

I sense some hate going on here......

Sam, I do not produce Caskets..... they are sold through my firm... I don't know why you keep trying to dig yourself a deeper grave..... you sound like such an greedy childish pig and your customers are seeing more and more of it...... your bitchin does not go unnoticed because Grille-Tech is watching you right now.....(they think your funny).... well so do I...

Trust me Sam, I asked for your help once before, I will never ask again.. so what can I expect that will come around my way?... you threatening me again??????

Smitty,

Apparently my question THAT ACTUALLY PERTAINS TO THE POST was lost in all this baby bullshit high school drama...

What style will the grills be available in?

And just as a side note to everyone thats jumpin on the band wagon and gettin into this argument just let them handle this themselves and please stop throwing fuel on the fire. This constant bickering isnt getting anyone anywhere, sure it was comical at first but now its just becoming a hate-fest. I thought the purpose of this board was for people with common interests (In our case CL's incase somebody forgot) to congregate, share stories and ideas. Not go and hate on each other over nothing -- But what do I know thats just my

even if you could beat the shit out of me, it's not going to make you any smarter.

here's some advice, know what you are talking about before you post. you get very defensive when you get owned. and that seems to happen alot.

and stop e-thuggin on me, and personally attacking me before you end up banned.

Nope.. i will dump it on the board whenever I hear that they are ready to ship out.....maybe sooner than Nov..

Then we will get a GB going on and get the COMPLETE set-up for 99.00 shipped.. Upper, Lower, side Vents/Fogs <-- whatever you wish to call them.... I am sure it might be alittle less for just the lower or upper, but we shall see.. too early to tell...

Now excuse me for awhile, I need to go call the CEO of Grilletech on his cell phone.....ROFLOL...

Smitty...see if they can do different styles of grilles...the race cut is too small and the diamonds are too large...see about small stainless steel horizontal diamonds w/ a clear coat and high shine... . And maybe a flat surface so it can be easily wiped clean w/ a rag and not get caught from edges...

It seems like it's gonna be awhile untill the grilletech group buy gets into production and start shipping the grilles. But do keep us posted on the progress smitty.

Meanwhile for those that can't wait can always get them now from me. My process takes about 2 weeks from order placement to delivery. I'd love to cut down the price but it wouldn't be fair to those that just purchased them recently. For the full set, it'll be $230 shipped. Just remember that the extra steps I take make them cost more but better in paint quality. You can choose whatever finish you want, from high gloss to matte, whatever color you want, black, silver, white, red, blue, yellow, gold, any color you want I'll get the bodyshop to paint it all for free.
If you see the slightest sign of rusting at any point, send them back to me, i'll take care of the shipping, I'll put multiple coats on them, oven heat them. As long as you have the grilles on the car, all warrantee work is on me. Time to step up my service to the next level.

I'm placing another group order by the end of next week, those interested PM me.

Current group order update: I started shipping out the finished grilles this morning, I complete the order based on the order of payment, pay first ship first.

Oh yeah one more thing, if you're selling a car part new/used, we can maybe do a swap, like I've done in the past for my grilles, so I don't only take money as the method of payment. Set the barter trend back in the game peeps.

And to give everybody a head's up, my next project is doin a polyurethane/ABS plastic grille with various hole patterns. Now doing R&D on the perfect material to get lightness yet durable and strong. I'll never leave you all out in my new findings. I love my CL so much, and it's been the main reason this forum means a lot to me, I just wanna contribute something back in return. I apologize if I ever displeased anybody in anyway.

I thought this thread was for a group buy from Grill Tech. Why are you on here with all this other crap. Don't you think the right thing for you to do would be to set up your own thread, instead of looking like an,....well never mind about that.

But that'll be one expensive ass grille, and it's certainly not worth 1000 bucks.

Hey, I never went around and advertise my shit, I only been taking REQUESTS. Get the facts straight. If what I do isn't appreciated then screw it.

Just get this Smitty, you're only doing all the trouble to get to Grilletech because of me, I'm the ONE who told you about them right? what does that prove? I'm not like as selfish as you thought I am, I gladly gave you all the info you needed to get this going on your own, can't you at least appreciate that?

You can shut me down like this, but remember, what goes around comes around. Just remember me when your casket business goes down. Other than that, wish you all the best with the group order, it better comes through, cuz after all this talk and it doesn't come through, damn, if I were you I'd bury myself in one of those HOMEMADE caskets.

I'm only here in defense to my reputation. If your name is mentioned in a thread and the info about you is not accurate, you'd try to correct it wouldn't you? I'm just giving more choices to everybody, is that wrong? People deserve to have options don't they.
So MoDict, instead of copying all my posts and wasting space on this thread, why don't you just mind your own biz, bish. Don't even heat things up all over again.

Think about how many people would still have gutter guard stuff on their CL? If any, I've been doing favors for many members, so don't put me down like this because one person started out getting pissed off at me cuz I couldn't give him something that never exist.
I have been doing other custom stuff for the CL on the side, but looking at how this forum responded to new ideas, I guess I won't be sharing them on here anymore.
Ummm ... what about the "gutter guard stuff"? It's the grand father of every after market grille for the 2nd gen CL

Am I the only one that thinks the gaurds look bad on the FRONT GRILL? I mean you can still see the Acura LOGO...looks ghetto imo, if you can remove the acura logo and the silver part in there, then it would look MUCH cleaner.
