Well I was just told last night, that when I drop my girlfriend at her house late at night her mom is watching television. As soon as my g/f walks in the door her mom turns off the volume of the television and listens for me leaving as I always get up in pretty high rpms unleashing the growl of vtec. I think its funny how my g/f mom loves the sound so much, but I thought it was pretty cool...I am guessing lots of people who hear it probably like it a lot. Alright well just saying how pretty like the intake and dont think its ricer as some people have asked before.

Nah no way is the AEM CAI sound rice. That sucker sounds MEAN as hell.

 

When we had our first so cali meet there were about 30 or so cars. well the AEM unit wasn't available for the 2nd gens yet. Those guys wouldn't stop talking about how good my first gen sounded. The growl is definately the best. I love getting next to people w/ their window down and stepping on it, I've scared so many people

 

Good to hear that there're still a few of us left that likes the CAI.. seems like everyone is switching to or have switched to the ICEBOX.

I still love my CAI.

 

I've had my SC w/ Icebox on for 3 days now...and the thing I miss most is the AEM screaming!!

 

I hated the AEM screaming. All that noise, all the growl, all that hissing. Drove me nuts. That's why I have the icebox. If the icebox was not made, I'd still have the AEM though.

 

I loved it when I had 3.0

 

aem CAI rules, man everyday after school i make all the baseball kids turn around during streches, its awesome

I had AEM from sept 03 to jan 04, then made the switch .. very happy, but would keep the AEM if there were no alternative.

I love my CAI, especially inside a tunnel...... I love dropping the car to 2nd and flooring it in a tunnel

yea i was wonderin where the injen love was too? haha i guess most ppl on here have aem. it is cheaper than the injen tho after all for basically the same product.

 

I love my Injen CAI no isssue in approximately 2 years!

 

i love my AEM intake..

 

they are both the same, but u can get the injen in polished

 

i miss it.
