GRAPE APE --- GRAPE APE

Any of you 30+ guys remember that Saturday morning cartoon with the Giant PURPLE ape?
Whenever he talked, he repeated the phrase: GRAPE APE --- GRAPE APE

I think of this whenever I see that SILLY PURPLE STRIPE on the top of my PC screen.

Yeah I remember that show but barely. They don't make cartoons like that anymore.

I was thinking at that time back then, I had no idea that next century I would be driving a 2001 Acura CL (whatever the hell that is....)

This is going to get moved.....

I thought transformers were cool, but GI Joe was probably my favorite. I wish I still had all my Gi Joes, transformers, hot wheels, and anything else my mom sold at garage sales. I bet you could get a lot of money for some of that stuff now.

Transformers...more than meets the eye. ;-)

I ran across a couple of them when I was cleaning out some stuff at my parents house before they moved last year. Made me feel old. Still took em home with me tho...

I remember it along with the Thunderbirds and the Fabulous Four.

I kept my original GI Joe's - they are in the attic of my parents house - those were the guys with the hair and the beards - before the Kung Fu grip generation. LOL!
