Got WD40 on the dash, how can I remove it?
I was spraying WD40 all along the seams of passenger airbag cover because it's been rattling so much. Anyways, I accidentally got WD40 on the dash as well and now I've got spots that are really shiny. I've tried using a towel with soap and water and just can't get the junk off. Anyone know how I can get it off?
If you got it on the black-face of the dash (like around the gauge cluster) be careful, it is painted plastic! A black paint with some gold speckles. If you use too harsh a cleaner you will get a dull spot.
Happened to me, but the marble gauge cluster peice covered it right up
