Got Rotors replaced
Got Rotors replaced
This past summer I took in my car for 45,000 maint. and pulsating brakes (actually had 53,000 by the time we could work out a mutually good time). Got car back and all they did was turn the rotors, service manager said pads were OK. Told him TSB said "Replace pads". I sent them a couple of emails stating I did not think what they had done was correct, and then my brakes started pulsing again (5-6K miles later). I then sent them an email about brakes pulsing after only 5,000 miles and that I wanted not only the pads, but also the rotors replaced. Finally got it done yesterday, now hopefully I'll be OK until well after 100,000 miles.. YMMV
damn, how do people's brakes last so long. I change my front brakes almost every 15-20K miles. Just at about the time i change my tires!! I guess i just drive the car hard, plus i commute a lot.
