On Tuesday I decided to install a 10" woofer and an amp. It was installed by Sound Advice here in Tampa. I decided to go with one xtant 10 and an xtant amp. It sounds great. I was very suprised on how much it brought up the whole system. I recommend this to everyone. I definately think that anything more than one 10" with the stock system would be to much.

 

What brand of sub was that? And where did they tap-in to get juice for the amp at the speaker end or at the acura amp side?

What was ball park cost for the complete project?

 

what amp r u running and is it enuff to start rattling the spoiler...if u have one?

 

Not too much rattle in mine...hehehe...just lots of boom...

 

Its an xtant woofer and sub. They took the signal from one of the rear speakers. This amp is specially made to do this.

I have a xtant amp and 2 10" BA woofers,they sound great! but add another 75 pounds in my trunk

yes mine rattles, maybe it;s hitting too low frequency, i don;t really know...i thought the cl was loaded with dynamat or some sort of sound deadening material...well, it's ALOT quieter than when it was in my integra...but you can still see the spoiler rattle from the OUTSIDE! hahahha...how sad...
