Got my OBX Headers and did install today

UPS really destroyed the box but the headers were OK. Welds and all were perfect and OBX smoothed down the inner pipes with a die grinder or whatever. Front header pipe outermost bolt holes were a hair too inboard so I just enlarged them slightly and the pipe fit OK. Rear header pipes slid right on. Stock parts came off OK but I needed to fire up the air compressor and hook up my half inch drive impact to get the three bolts off to the cat. All the rest came off by hand pretty easily. Installation of fronts is easy, but to take off the rear set I put the car on stands and found it was easy laying on your back for the stock manifold removal and installation of the new headers but did the final tightening from above standing on the passenger side on a step stool. You'll just barely be able to see the bolts. Couldn't finish the big pipe cause I couldn't re-use the donut gaskets and OBX didn't include new ones (but did include manifold gaskets) so I'll get them tomorrow and finish. Side benefit is that I'll bet we're losing 15 lbs too doing this. Will let everyone know how it runs tomorrow. Donut gaskets may have fallen out of the box in shipping. Couldn't believe how small the stock pipes are compared to the headers. I'll bet they flow 30% more air.

I ordered them from here on a group buy, and yes jack stands is all I needed plus air tools to help the tight stuff.
