Hey guys,
I picked up my CL-S two days ago. Its a 2003 CL-s, anthracite metallic, ebony leather, 6 speed, navi, and all the rest of the good stuff. Its such a cool car. Just wanted to say whats up. Ill put some pics up in a few days, although most of you probably know what it looks like. :P

Anyway, whats the first thing to know about this car? Any wierd stuff gonna happen I should look forward to?

It will be really wierd when you finally realize that you are now faster than most of those driving around and you find yourself zooming amongst traffic with a gigantic smile on your face !

 

I gotta tell you, I TOTALLY know that smile already. My last car which was a 12 second 2002 WRX was fast but not as smooth and the acceleration was different. This car seems to just pull comfortably to whatever speed I feel like hitting. Since I only have about 200 miles on the car I haven't gone over 90-95 yet, but its real sweet.

Also, does anyone know if there is any validity to the rumor I heard that Jackson was producing a SC for the CL-S?

Congrats and welcome. Haven't heard about Jackson, but Comptech is finalizing theirs and should be out shortly.

 

welcome, anthracite is one of the better colors on ANY car, espescially on the CLS. enjoy.

wow! thats the exact color and options i want. But i cant find it ANYWHERE. did you special order it? congrats!

 

I actually didn't have to special order it. I was going between 2 dealerships trying to get a better deal and one of the guys called me one day and said he got allocated one more CL-S in Anthracite with Ebony, six spd and nav, so I put a deposit on it. I got a real good deal too (I think). With the spoiler, cargo mat, wheel locks, and all season mats I paid $32000.
The funniest thing was that I bought the car and test drove it on the way home!
