Hey guys, I had a few scratches and stuff fixed my on my red 03 cl and i got the car back today. Everything was fine and dandy until i get home and realize there is like a pink film/dust on my seats and dash and in the cracks and everywhere. So i called them and they said it was "Overspray, it must have gotten in the car. Just bring it in tommarrow and we will clean it out with this grease or cleaner we use."

That sounds nice and all but does will this "overspray" stuff really come out of carpets and leather and everywhere in my interior? It looks like its in the stitching of my console, that doesnt look like its going to come out. What do you guys think?

It's not overspray, it's dust from Bondo body filler that they were using on other cars in the shop... Vaccuum it out and all will be good.

when i had my car repaired and repainted from hail damage there was a whiteish grey powder inside the car, just wiped it down with a wet cloth. the body shop said it was from sanding and what not. hopefully yours comes out

Good news, took it back this morning and they had a guy clean it out with vaccuum and what not. It seems to be gone but i will still have to take a qtip to all the little places like the radio, looks like a fun saturday for me!
