I just realized the lowest bar of the grille isnt painted. Did you do that for any particular reason or did the body shop do that on their own?

Meh. Just put it together, the first start up will take care of any clearance problems.

Little mod I did today.
37.00 bucks for the OFC copper 105C cable, & gold plated ends + about 2.00 worth of silver solder + an hour of my time.
I think my EVT code was ground related so even if nothing else comes from this if I get rid of that damn P1084 CEL it will totally be worth it.

My block came back from the machine shop.
It will sit until Monday as the mechanic is going prairie dog killing Friday-Sunday and the oil squirter block off bolts won't be delivered until tomorrow by end of day
Traffic on top, normal below.
Gauge mode.

Can you explain what you were having the machine shop do to your block? I understand you are stroking the motor, and you are installing that brace for the crank, what else needs to be done though?
And can you please explain how you are displaying engine data through a garmin unit? Very cool, reminds me of the current GT-R
Somehow it feels like the car is being held back from greatness due to use of replica wheels..Sorry to say it..not trying to diss you, love the car and the project overall! Just being honest.

As far as the block. The girdle is a billet piece 3x as burly as stock. The 88mm crank allows the pistons to go further down into the bore which allows the endcap bolts to get into an angle that had them hitting the block. It had to be ground away to not hit.

Lol well I didn't mean to pressure you into considering 3500 rims. Even something from say, Enkei, would be nice. I think it's just the unused lug holes which to me, signal "generic" or "universal", meanwhile the rest of your build is anything but.
And yes, how do you wire up a garmin to display that kind of info?
It's a little hard to make heads or tales of the pictures but I see a lot of freshly machined surfaces..just curious, may I ask what they charge for that?

I do not think they are lug holes, they are holes.

That attaches to the OBDII port, then via bluetooth it attaches to the Nuvi.
I think I paid 130 for that and 170 for the Nuvi.

Wow, I like it! I will have to seriously consider that..Only problem is that I already own a Nuvi 255w, which is not one of their Bluetooth equipped units.
What if I bought a headunit that is bluetooth enabled, and had navigation by garmin? Might that be compatible? Are there even any good quality headunits that support garmin maps, instead of using proprietary software? Sorry if this is detracting from the focus of your thread, feel free to pm if you prefer, either way I would appreciate your input.

Well i'm just trying to show my consideration in case you hate me for commenting about your wheels, lol.
I certainly am not in the market for $1500 head units myself, I guess i will just have to sell my GPS, and get an appropriate one if I wanted that feature. But what do you mean you have a BT nuvi but it is not compatible? Is that not the 765 in the pictures in your Z's cubby?
