Got me some headers!

Now I know what all you guys with headers rave about. I picked up a set of nice Comptechs a week ago (thanks ClassyCLS), and had a wonderful time driving them home tonight. I can definately feel the difference. The extra power at the higher RPM's are awesome. Now I have more of a reason to make it out to a track some time.

Definately want to say a big thanks to Brett (mclarenf3387) for putting them in. Much appreciated man!!!

I can't feel my arms
:truestory:

And although I have no baseline since I've never driven a stock Type-S, his car pull pretty damn hard, even in 4th.

wait a couple days for the ecu to learn the changes...it took me a day or 2 to finally realize how big of a difference they were. Congrats!

Can I ask a simple question? Why didn't Acura invest a few hundred dollars more into the CL-S and install better headers?

I don’t get it. If there are significant gains and the cost for the parts is minimal (to Acura), why not? Acura did a nice job with the Type S, but it seams they didn’t go all the way.

Yeh. It's feeling better everytime I drive it. Took off at a light this morning and left the Honda Accord next to me in the dust.

The car pulls harder especially after 3500 rpm, and the sound across the rpm range is awesome.

Come Dcember 4, you'll have to take it out!!

Veeral the shipment came into the port of Miami today. It is going through customs as we speak. My shipment will be here next week. I ordered 17 headers so there is plenty to go around, although a few are already taken.

No, I am located in Branford, CT, which is New Haven County. Nexus Industries is located in Miami, FL and they are the primary distributor for Alpha Werks products. Their shipment just arrived from overseas; so that means my shipment of Alpha Werks headers for the CL/TL is arriving next week. I had 17 V6 headers on order along with some others.
