got a kill and a question

last night coming home on the i5 a dodge charger decides to play around with me, so i catch up to him going 75 we both wot , i was ahead about 1 car most of the time till 130 i kept going so he shut it. im sure it was just the base model with 250hp v6 with like dubs.

Question- i notice when i floor at 80 or more the rpm only jumps to about 4-5k and vtec doesnt kick in right away. but when i floor it 80 mph vtec kicks in right away. is this normal?

80mph is around the end of 3d gear...its better if you use sports shit than flooring it, its easier to control and gives u quicker vtec if you hold it a little passed red line.
