Got into an accident!!

Geez.. just my luck. I was going onto the on-ramp of the freeway and it is a sharp curve and I didn't know the freeway was at a standstill. The truck in front of me accelerated up the ramp and stopped suddenly... and I was thinking of the Enzo that crashed last morning on PCH and *bam* I swerve but run into his rear bumper. My headlight is gone, crushed the hood over it and the fender and scratched the bumper.... my insurance premium is gonna go nutz! I might get a quote and try to fix it without going through insurance unless its very expensive. The other guy had a little ding on his chrome metal bumper!

I don't like this car anymore!

how sorry of a driver can that guy be?! you must pretty reckless in order to pass the Enzo's handling threshold and totally waste it. the other guy in the SLR must've been laughing his ass off all the way to work.

If I remember correctly, you don't have the turbo anymore? If so, you are damn lucky . . . I can just see you having nailed it with the turbo and you would have really created a pile up.

Anyway, hope it works out for you . . .

sucks to hear that man. if you need any help in this let me know, i have a friend that gets into an accident once per month for the past year! no joke, he has had more money spent on his g35c in accidents then the 40k sticker of the car!
Did you have a chance of braking, or was that out of the question? either way, take it through insurance if possible and get all oem parts. keep us posted, good luck with it.

It's $2800 to fix. New headlight, hood, fender, bumper and paint matching... maybe another $400 if the headlight ballasts are broken, but I think they are okay. I am going through insurance... not worth to pay that much!

I guess I have so much going on right now I have been not paying attention to the car and driving etc... very unlike me!

I opened my hood today after 2 months... I remember the times when I opened my hood at least 3-4 times a day.

I drove my car today for the first time in 2 months Put a new oil feed line and oil restrictor in and I like it... seems to respond a little better. I think the turbo was flooded with oil before... Sorry about your accident btw, glad no one was hurt.
