Just got back from driving a bunch of Volvo S40's at El Toro Marine Air station. The T5 6speed was quite surprising for a front wheel drive car, you did not notice the under steer until you really started to push it. You got to do a lap of a road course set up with cones and when you were done, you jumped back in line and did it again! Got to do about 15 laps in the time I was there. Sure is fun to beat up on someone else car. On & off rain made for some exiting moments

For looking at only
Last year we got to do the same with the 60R's. Now THAT was some real fun, 300hp, four wheel drive, active suspension, yada yada yada. My friend actually brought a 60R after the test day.

I was there too! The rain makes it much more fun. Lots of sliding around...
I am also impressed with the T5 6sp. It's not quite as quick as the CL-S 6sp, but handles much better imo. Impressive for a front driver.
Kickass 450W surround sound stereo too!

I missed the original thread so thanks for posting
I signed up for the DC event. I think the following week is the Mazda RevItUp thing so that's two weekends of messing with cool new cars
