Got to drive my buddy's new Z06...
Man that thing is fast as hell!! Dont know if I would buy one for a daily driver though. I dont think the extra speed is worth the downgrade in style from his NSX. But he is 18 and spoiled and can get whatever he wants, soooo....
His dad just got a new MB AMG 55, and all I can say about that car is WOW. Now there is a car I could drive every day. That just may be the nicest car I have ever ridden in.
Maybe someday...
Gonna try to get both of my buds (Z06 and Viper) to go to the track tomorrow for a little shootout. Im thinking the Viper should win, but the owner is anal and wont drive it hard... Probably wont even be able to get him to go... Ill post my time slips tomorrow night IF it doesnt get rained out for the fourth straight week.

V1 highly recommended. Unfortunately, Vipers are a little faster in a straight line. 
C5 interior sucks for a $50,000 automobile. Then again, it's a helluva lot faster than a NSX. You want a refined rocketship or slightly crude American muscle? Oh, and best launch is ~ 2400 rpm. You will light up the rears getting off the line, but play John Force with the feathering and you won't completely go up in a cloud of blue smoke. Once you hook up, watch for getting squirrely on the 1-2 and then nail that biatch all the way for the line !

Don't feel bad, the Viper interior "really" sucks for a $75k car

Its red with silver stripes....almost waited for the 01 with ABS, but didn't want pay anymore- so I went with a 00, no regrets.
An all black GTS is very cool looking, something Darth Vader would drive.

The new 405hp Z06 is just plain sic! I'd get in in the new blue color. Chevys problem with its interiors are summed up on one word, AC Delco! That nasty GM shit needs to go, and I hate the red instrument lighting, white is the only way to go.

Bad enough that GM screwed us '01 owners. The new blue is killer looking in photos. Love my gauges personally, one of the best things GM got right on C5 interiors. And I ain't apologizing for working my butt off for the car I wanted! :p
