After removing resonator and adding pipe, improve milage

After I took the resonator out and put a dryer hose to make a cai effect I've seen consistent 24mpg. I already refilled 5 times and all 5 times I've got atleast 23.6 and ususally around 24mpg but less than 25mpg. I drive the car very hard and I also sit in traffic everyday w/ the AC full blast.

I've first noticed improved gas milage after putting in the k&n but now after taking the resonator out I've got even more improvement. For people that don't have a cai, if you want to save on some gas take your resonator out and through in a highflow filter like K&N or comptech.

Next time I fill her up Im gonna try to not WOT at all and see what kind of mileage I get.

BTW, i got 18.7k on my car.

It's kind of like breathing through a soda straw running the 10k! I will never understand why those engineers insist on such a restrictive system.
New CLS code issue:
"All resonators and air boxes shall be removed and put to sleep in the basement or garage". CAI shall be installed when economically feasible.
