Got cut off by another car

I got a question for you guys. This morning I was going straight into an EZ-PASS lane, where I-476 ends at Plymouth Meeting. As I was about to get to the actual booth, some lady cuts me off and I had to swerve into the EZ-PASS booth to the right of me. As I get to the other booth, there is a toll-booth employee crossing infront of me and he's motioning for me to slow down (I couldn't help it, I was just trying to avoid an accident). I was frustrated so I was motioning it was not my fault (I did not flip him off). As I was leaving the booth, I see him getting a pen out, I am not sure if he got my plate or not. But either way, is there any way possible this guy could do anything? I got the license plate for the lady who cut me off, just incase. Stupid situation, but it has just got me thinking. Thanks.

Usually they send you a letter for $20.35 I believe(thats what is in Jersey). On the back there is a space to explain what happened, like it malfunctioned etc. and you can usually just send in the cost of the toll and they'll let it go. Thats in Jersey though, don't know how they do it in Mass but I'm sure its something similar.

dont worry you wont go to jail. If its a small fine, just pay for it, if not then take it to court. but asnything less than 100 bucs is just not worth fighting over.

From: Miami - just one day, I would like to drive without getting cut off!
I might call them, before they send me a letter, and explain. Maybe cut them off at the pass.

Do you have EZPass?

If you don't, it will probly be a $200.00 dollar fine for toll evasion. Call them and let them know what happened. Let them know that you'll be more than happy to pay the missed toll. Hopefully they'll let you get away with just paying the toll since you came foward.

I have ez-pass and I paid the toll. The toll worker was on a power trip and was telling me to slow down. My question was that if this guy got my plate number, is there any way I can get a ticket for speeding through the ez-pass booth?

I am not worried about it, but I was wondering who determines that you were driving too fast through the ez-pass booth. I see people go though that thing doing 30, when the posted speed is 5 mph.

yeah he might try and say you tried to run him down.. collect unemployment since he is now having nightmares/distress...

sit tight... do not sweat the small stuff.... if you get a letter respond to it...

I am pretty sure toll booth Willy has minor authority.

If he thinks you were driving careless it might come to something like that. Go to court, talk to the judge, since no one was hurt you will get nothing.

People at that toll both area are crazy, not like they can get away from Jersey any faster.

He can't say you were speeding because if you were it would have automatically snapped your cars picture. Ah he probably didn't get your plate. sucks though

I'm sure those things are monitored by camera's so if they send anything, you can always ask to review it on tape.
