got brakes?!

I have pics of them on the car but need to get my camera software before I can upload them.
All I can say is they look awesome and stop even better. The suburban stops like a sports car now, it's amazing. I put about 100 miles on it this weekend and man i'm finally happy again. My motor guy did some work on the motor and it feels 100% stronger. I stomped on it at 30 mph and broke those big ass 315's loose which is impressive in a car that must weigh in close to 5K.
Also, you know you have a pimp ride when a brand new 360 modena pulls up to you at a light and the old asian man rolls down his window to tell you you have a nice car
I just looked at the pics of the Suburban...nice!!!
Brings back memories of HS and early college when I was building my '81 Grand Prix. I used to drool over these kinds of cars in Hot Rod and Car Craft.
BTW, brakes are sweet!

21 now, and i've been building it since I was about 14. It's fun to drive, but to tell you the truth, I only have about 300 miles of my driving on it. I can't insure it yet so it's a trailor queen till July hopefully. That and the car has never really been complete until just about now, and now it's going back to the paint shop to get some blemishes fixed up. These kind of projects never finish

But yea it's a f'ing blast to drive, you get all types of looks and stares and a bunch of praises. The car is a people magnent. Plus it's taken home 1st place in every show it's been in so far along w/ 4 magazine slots.

I heard that Baer is not a good system because they don't have a piston dust cap??? Weird when I heard it but I could have the wording wrong, but what I was told was that Brembo and Rotora have it and since Baer does not it requires the pistons or calipers to be rebuilt every year. Like I said I didn't understand it fully so maybe u guys could clear things up.

never heard of such a thing. I just got a real good deal from baer on these in term for a little publicity for them. Also, i'm not worried even if so, it's not like I put alot of miles on this car. It may see 2000 a year max.
