Got another "S"

My wife came home w/ this not actual car but same color 2005 Corolla S...should have at least gotten the XRS. I haven't driven it yet but was a good deal for under 14K

dammit...we went from talking about getting an Audi1.8T to this!

I'm already looking for parts to fix this bish up. Anyone know where to get cheap Toyota aftermarkets? Shit is pretty expensive for a Corolla.

Not a bad deal.
Coulda gone with the new Scion tC if they're out, too.
I had one of the new corollas as a rental a few months back. They're OK. I wouldn't go on a road trip with them (like I did) but they're fine for moving around town.

yea, I seen the scion tc in person and looks pretty good, the dark grey, metallic paint is nice. Wife wanted a 4 door tho. I'd compare the scion tc to the hyundai tiburon as far as price, power go. Styling is better, it even had 17 rims and potenzas, not bad

i believe TRD might have some stuff for your corolla...too bad it isn't the XRS because that one has a optional Supercharger that is coming out with it. Just check with the dealership on what aftermarket parts they have for the corolla.

I had a Corolla a few years ago. It was a great urban runabout and I never had any problems with it too. Then one day my poor Corolla was hit from behind by a Mercury driven by a distracted 79 year old dude and the collision pushed my Corolla into a T-bird in front of me. And then the dude behind me hit me again and that was the end of my hardworking and reliable Corolla.

But now I am thinking of getting another commuter car so I also may get another Corolla (Type S, of course) or a CRV.

is there anything different about the S besides the body kit (if you want to call it that)? Faster or suspension work?

The S has the same engine/performance as the base Corolla.

yea, i don't get it, the S has actual rims instead of the caps, this one came w/ a cd player, AC, pw windows/lock and keyless entry. I think we got a really good deal. Oh yea, the wheel gap is ridiculous, I can put like my whole fist and a finger. What's funny is she kept insisting she had to have a spoiler! It was friggin hilarious cuz she wouldn't take the car w/o it!
