i got on my cls auto from a dead stop today for the 1st time . i was ready to spin the shit out of the tires but all it did is spin a little then just took off does this happen to any one elso or the tires are supposed to spin like a mother f--cker

 

My shitty stock tires spin like a mofo. Did you have VSA off? If not, that could be why they didn't burn up.

 

and yes had traction control off

my car has always seemed to hook up well.

 

stock tires dont hook up for shit, i'm trying to burn mine out asap

 

so i guess im not the only one who just hits it and hooks well

 

I have SO3's and can spin my wheels every single damn time. I hate how this car hooks up...or rather doesn't.

 

Maybe those who do w/ the stocks have under-powered engines...?

 

man...when I had my OEM Michelins I spung like crazy no matter what. I never hooked up at WOT...even screeches shifting to second

 

I raced a buddy of mine last summer and from a start I spun pretty badly and then chirped going into second. This was on stockers and with the vsa on.

Also try it from a slight roll, should get a pretty good spin and barking.

 

I always spin like crazy unless the road is nice and clean which in Boston is pretty much never. Very occasionally I chirp going into 2nd gear but not all the time. I look forward to stickier tires but don't want to just throw away the stock ones.

 

if u dont spin off the line that doesnt mean u have an underpowerd engine at all... its called good hook up.. its much better than spinning..

 

My stock Michelins spun like mad too. Maybe it's condition differences.
