Goodbye CL-S, Hello...
Hey guys, I know I don't hardly post here, like 200 some posts in 3 years, but I would like to let you know that I got rid of the CL-S and got me an R32!
The car is really awesome. It has quite a bit more low end torque than the CL does, but it doesn't have the great high end power of the CL. First gear actually revs up too fast, about 2 or 3 seconds and then I have to shift. It also handles quite a bit better even though it weighs 3400 lbs.
I have been thinking about gettinga new car for a while, and the R32 fit my needs pretty well. The only thing is that now I actually really miss my CL-S
I think the CL-S is actually more comfortable, especially the seats. The R32's are pretty stiff. But I still love both cars. Oh yeah, another shitty thing is that the dealer was charging $2000 over invoice. But oh well.
I want to say that this is a great forum and am still going to visit this as much as I did before. Probably more than the VW forum. Sorry I don't have any pics, but I don't have a camera. The car is the Black Magic Pearl. Sweet color. Looks like it has a lot of different colors in it.
ANy way, I have talked long enough. See Ya.

You know what, even though I don't have a real camera, I have one on my phone. When it's light tomorrow, I'll take some pics.
And about modding it, Maybe
I know that making the exhast flap stay open gives you about 10hp at the wheels, the CAI another 10 or so and a chip is about the same. As for going with a turbo or something, I doubt it. Too much money for me. But you never know.

Good car. Don't get sucked into the VwVortex, it seems to have gone to shit over the past 2 years. I've been a member when there was only 15 members back in the day, ancient times. No good info anymore, that's the reason I frequent the Acura forums instead.
Now go out and buy a HPA Motorsports twin turbo kit and get that thing past 550hp & 0-62 in 3 secs!

i believe "r32" is referring to the volkswagen car...looks like the gti vr6 (or the 1.8t for that matter)...i dunno the specs on it but i think it was around 33k? i also remember hearing that it was very fast with a nice interior...but i'm too lazy to look it up
so basically the only piece of relevant information i've offered is that the car is a vw -____-

The R32 is a Helica-Diff 6MT AWD 3.2L VR6 24V engine, producing about 242hp/~=tq. Recaro front and rear seats, aluminum interior with serial numbering to represent which car you have. It's pretty fast off the line. It's the first VW with indepedent rear suspension. Has 18" OZs.
Like I said before, the mods for this car are incredible. It's capapble of either a VF Engineering S/C setup for more than 450hp or a HPA Bi-turbo setup for 550hp (0-62 in 3 secs).
But for a 30K VW (I have owned 5 of them), it's not worth it IMHO.

Call up HPA. Stage 1 will get you about 450 hp. Stage 2 is 550 horsepower, and Stage 3 is rated at over 600.
Stage 2 is about 30 grand, though. Stage 1 should be enough for most people, however.
Nice car. I'm not a huge fan of VW, but the R32 is a hell of a solid car. Enjoy it.
