To good to be true?

I came across this ad and it happens to be pretty close to my house. I am figuring it must have some body damage on the non pictured side and/or interior/mechanical damage. It just seems waaay too good of a deal. What do you guys think?

no i am looking for an actual daily driver. i know its good for parts but im not too sure about it. i think they are required to say if it has a salvage title and it doesnt say that so im assuming its not a rebuild

that price seems to be about what the market is asking for an 01 with those miles. When all is said and done with tax license etc it will probably be around 7k. If I were you I get a 6speed there are 2 in the BM both are ABP one has between 70-80k on the odo and the price is $8900 (its located in Florida)and the other has about 108K on the odo and he's asking $7000.

I agree with Collin that is junk the only thing that is good for is replacement parts and parting it out. If you get new airbags which you should if you want to trust that they work they are about 3k each and then theres the body work that is definitely not a deal if you want a car that you can drive.

But a Type S is usually a bit more expensive.

Ha, I'll sell you mine for 7k. I guarantee it runs better than that car and it has about 4k in mods. I just had the engine re-done. Sorry for the pointless plug of my car, lol. But man I'm itching for a new car and I still love my CL-S. But 3-4 years is the max I can have a car regardless of how much I love it.

Good luck on the purchase, I hope you find one you like.

Lol, I have 204k on my 01 auto and a 150k on this tranny, Knock on wood, knock on wood, and it still runs flawlessly.

I haven't actually seen many threads recently with trannys dying.

I always see cheap one's on Craigs getting sold from 4,500+
One that I did see before was $2900 with a smoked trans and 120,000 on the car.
next day I called it was already sold.
The salvage places their cl's sell usually for 3-5
