Even when i got my car worked on there they still treated me like i owned a M5. Awesome customer service. Ask for Sanders and tell em greg with the red 240sx sent ya =)

if they are struts then yes that is a good price. If they are just shocks then that will cost around $60 at pep boys. I assume you are gonna go with aftermarket shock/struts which require more work to install.

Pep Boys wanted to charge me $350 to intall my adjustable shox. Then i went to a small shop across the street and they said they can do it for $180. Then i talked to TSW and they said they can do it for $125.00

whats their reasoning behind not installin? i have never had problems w/ them and i never bought any of my parts from them either.... what they say?

BTW, what springs u got on? and y dint u do them both at the same time?

Also, D2 technik in LA is good too....they are very nice people, pricey, yet they take their time!

Diamond Bar Honda is not too bad....they at least will warantee their work...im pretty sure D2 does too, but ull have less of a problem at DB...they did my CL when it was 1 week old...no problmes, i just dint like the drop

Or, u can buy me dinner and ill do it

their reasoning behind not installing was "we dont install parts you didn't buy from us"... kinda weird...

i have progress springs on, and i had my koni yellows on, but i took them off to get re-gas and dynoed cuz i thought somethin was wrong with them

yea i was thinking about d2 technik i might call them up tomorrow, but Diamond Bar Honda? I've never heard of anyone going to a dealership to get their aftermarket parts installed... sounds kinda like an oxymoron to me.. haha

id check out diamond bar honda also

their parts counter is also an aftermarket parts counter. They sell all sorts of everything there including nitrous systems. i cant see them charging that much more than a spring install.

or u can contact Toby aka Eiccord on the v6performance forums. He's our resident suspension expert and does work on the side at his garage. his rates are very good and he's in general a really cool guy. btw he also works for eibach and is an ASE certified tech.

here's more info for you http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...928&forumid=41

he also lives in OC and might be more convenient for you. Tell him Frank sent you.

actually, ud be very surprised, DB honda does a shitload of aftermarket installs for honda/acura//...many dealers are now gettin into the aftermarket scence just cuz they know they can make extra cash....if u go to the dealer, ull see a 2000 turbocharged blue civic decked out by them w/ racing hart 3piece c2's with 300 som hp to the wheel with DIRECT PORT NITROUS INJECTION...2 50 shot bottles...fukin CRAZY for a dealer, i kno...but its worth it to just go and check it out....i had them do my CTs and they charged me a reasonable price....70 or so....includes dealership warantee....so im sure shocks would be somewhere around that price...just give em a call and see...the only downside is that they take a full day cuz they are always busy....i thought u would already know of DB honda since u are local to OC....almost third of the cars u see on the road were tuned by them....i just like em cuz they warantee their work, and if u got shit, they will always fix it w/o hassles
