good price for header install?

what is a good price for header install?
I was quoted $500 because the guy that would be doing it is sae certified and can charge whatever he wants. this was coming from the service represetative, hes real cool and told me that any exhaust I do would not void the warranty, and to try somewheres else it would be cheaper

I really dont want to spend more than 250
for that much I could find some people to doit my self. But well maybee not. I would hate to mess it up and have a leak and have to do it again or then have to pay.

Piece of cake. Do it yourself, save $250 and buy some tools, that way you get to keep the tools when your done. Pretty soon with all the new tools, you can do most of your car work yourself.

Park Ave Acura charges $255. IMO, anything over that is a rip-off. If a dealer is wiling to charget that price, aftermarket shops should be a lot cheaper.

FYI... I got mine done at PAA.

Shouldn't be any more 2 hours labor at Honda or Acura, $175.00 max. My Honda tech put in the Comptechs in less than an hour, he's a good friend though and the Comptechs fit like stock, perfectly!

I had CT headers installed by an Acura dealership for a total installed price of $1286 (price for headers and installation).
