good place to buy radar detector???
What site is a good discounted cheap place to buy a passport 8500 for my car, i just dont wanna spend 300 bucks!

Try pricewatch.com
It gives you prices from a bunch of places and gives you a great comparison for prices. I bought my radar detector (BEL) that way. Ebay price was close and decided to go with a shop instead since the prices were similar.
Ebay is not bad if you get lucky. Just make sure that the person has alot of feedback and there are only limited negative feedbacks (can't please em all).
