Good dealer in So Cal for service
Hi you guys....
I am going to take my TL-S in for an oil change soon and was wondering which so-cal dealerships are not only good for service, but also have a nice waiting room/showroom to check out the new cars in the meantime. The three closest dealers to me are South Coast Acura, Tustin Acura, and Mission Viejo Acura. I went to Tustin Acura last time but their showroom was under repairs and their "waiting room" sucked. Anyways, any recommendations would be appreciated....thanks in advance!!!

You're South of me so unfortunately I can't reply about your dealers in question. I have the same question for my first dealer service. Bought my car at Acura 101 but work very close to Acura of Santa Monica. Any service related feedback on those two dealers would be appreciated.

I have used both South Coast and Mission Viejo. Have been happy with both. If you go with Mission Viejo, they will pick you up and drop you off, while South Coast will only drop you off
Hope this helps

hey kitt9000 where do you live bro? I didnt think there were any people from this board that lived in irvine =D. I live in woodbridge. For service, I just go to the tustin dealership, but yea there is no showroom yet. HOWEVER, when the construction is finished, I heard they will get a couple of nsx's, so that should be cool

The sizzle in the Steak
I take my CL to Acura 101 West. Service Dept. is good. Waiting area is nice (Leather lounge chairs, TV, Coffee, donuts..etc) If you call ahead...loaner car is no problem. As for the showroom, must of the times I have been there they have had an NSX!

I've been to both Tustin and Cerritos, they were both pretty nice. I like Cerritos service better, but they are smaller and it's hard to get an appointment with them for weekends. I think they are also remodeling their showroom right now tho.

Where is my super sauce?
I used to live around the corner from Keyes Acura in Van Nuys and brought my Integra into them for interval service and a couple problems.
I always got the feeling that they were trying to dick me over. It took them three days to replace my clutch. The service manager seemed pretty slimey (and I know slimey ).
They get a thumbs down.
(there was an independent shop around the corner called Kennedy's that was quite fair - I would recommend them to any valley-ites)

Thanks for the reference. What issue, if any, is there with Acura and our warranty by using an independent vs. dealer for service?

Me: Excuse me, do you know where the parts department is?
Salesguy: I will just show you right now, since I have nothing else to do. Hey, do you want to buy a car?
Me: No, I've already got one.
Salesguy: Are you sure?
Me: Yeah
Salesguy: OK then. Follow me.
I don't know, I guess you had to be there.

They have no showroom and the salesmen sit under a tent that is in front of the lot. The following happened while I was there a couple of weeks ago. I had some trouble finding the parts counter (it's also under construction, and you need to slip into the service garages to get to it).
