Good Bye CL-S Hello...

...IS 350. Well after a year and 2 months with the CL it was time for something different. I just picked up my Onyx Blue Pearl IS today, man is this thing quick. Even though I didn't post on here much, I did enjoy the time I spent lurking. Here are a couple of picks I took at the dealer just before I left. Enjoy.

New

you will definitely have fun with that car. it must be nice to have a great RWD sitting in the driveway. my brother wants to get one at the beginning of next year.
happy trails.

I like the color. Is that car used or do they come with plates in FL when you buy new?

Yeah nice rides. I jus got an 03CLS, and my bro got an IS250. He wanted the AWD, and you can't beat that. He got the most fully loaded IS you can get. Unfortunately the IS350 doesnt come with as much as the IS250, but still nice ride!! If your looking for speed, then you def picked the right choice. The IS350, moves!

I really like the Blue Onyx too... Thank god Lexus doesn't offer an IS350 6mt coupe (or my SMR CLS might be gone too )

I got a really good deal on the IS, 3000 off MSRP which is unheard of, most people are lucky to $500-1000 off the car. Pays to know people in high places. They only gave me $12,500 for the CL. After 5 days with the car the only things I miss from the CL are side bolsters and the HID's, getting aftermark ones next month. Only the 250 is manual but that has 100 ponys, the 350 has a 6 speed auto with paddle shift which is fun.

I love how they play with the numbers... So they basically gave you MSRP and $15.5K for the CLS I'm suprised they didn't write it up like that, as dealers are known to want to increase the amount of the new car to artificially inflate numbers like Edmunds.com TMV figures...

Still sounds like a decent deal for a newly released lexus...

Nice ride, but please keep future updates in the Car Talk area since it's not a 2nd Gen CL.

Thanks,
