Gonna need help from you guys! Navi Conversion!
Okay the mod additction has gotten bad... no more mods on the CL-S till Spring!
I still have the Mugen mods to install.
I have Rotora rotors, SS lines, axxis pads, and powdercoated stock calipers to install.
Plus I just bought a complete OEM Navi system!
If you have done the conversion (I know a few of you have) please let me know if I can contact you within the next few months.... i'm gonna have questions during the install process.
I'm totally
right now

No actually... I'm not. Will all the mods on my car, it wouldn't be worth it to take them all off, install them on the new car, just to have Navi.
For the price I paid, plus doing the install myself with the help of Jonesi, this is a better idea then buying a new CL-S.
And out of all the conversions that have been sold through A-CL and A-TL this one is by FAR the most user and install friendly. All the connections are labeled and instructions are included as to where each wire and each pin must go. Plus Garrick, the seller, seems like a great guy and is 100% willing to walk me through the installation process.
Thanks for the comment though

I purchased it through a member of the site who had done the conversion. I do not know how he came about the parts.
Did you want a breakdown of what everything cost me? It definitely cost me more than $1,200...
Screen + DVD $800
Instrument Panel $90
Hazard switch $25
Temp console $150
Bracket $25
GPS antenna $50
Main to rear harness $200
Misc bolts, wires $50
Not to mention I had to purchase the service manual which I include photocopies of all the pages necessary for this install.
The screen and DVD unit I purchased from a person who wrecked a 2003 - CL-S. The GPS antenna was purchased from Alpine, Temp consle from eBay and the rest was from Acura Parts.
The wiring harness is manditory as the Non-Nav cars use a different harness and the existing harnesses that the Nav needs to tap into have empty slots (which is why I preserved the pins on the wires, so you can just insert them into the existing harnesses). You do have to do some cutting and splicing but no more than what is necessary for any Stereo or Nav install.

sorry to bring this back from the dead but i was wondering where you got the main to rear harness for $200... im am getting ready to do the install and was going to build it myself but may go the easy route if you can help me out witha link or part number.
that was a copy and paste from a PM.... the gentleman was selling a OEM Navi set-up in the BlackMarket last year...
those are just the break down in costs and instructions he sent to me...
should of quoted him (who it was)
I can not remember what I had for lunch last week, let alone a conversation on the internet last year.
