Talking Going Turbo

Well I dont know how I did it but, I convinced my girlfriend to help me with the costs for my custom turbo kit for christmas (For the next few Christmas's if you know what I mean..$$$). We just got her a Stone White Jeep Liberty 2 days ago, so I want some boost. I am getting everything done asap.

But if anyone has a walbro 255 fuel pump, and greddy e-manage they want off there hands then let me know please.

Im getting the S2k injectors- Will that be sufficant?

Anything else vital I need?

The clutch will be able to hang right?

Thanks Azine

Yes , its all good but unless u doing some drastic changes to the car, u will prob end up selling it. If u look at d specks of our cars, it can only do so much and u can only squeez so much out of it . (especially if u trying to make a lot of whp).
Hey if u have to go ahead, i guess sometimes u just have to get some things out ur system. Just to many limiting factors i tell u, even if u making good power. u still have others to worry abt. trans, weight, tractn, reliability etc

maybe a used SC will be a better approach if u have to.

There is also this option...

https://acurazine.com/forums/member-cars-sale-49/fs-2001-supercharged-cl-s-sundance-gold-orange-county-calif-373284/

3.5 swap with S/C, IC, custom injectors, etc...$5000 maybe less

EDIT: This was an AT setup so compatibility could be an issue...and even with HBP you might be looking around 375-400whp as opposed to 450 with ThinJim's.

I think ThinJim stated in his thread that with the turbo setup the clutch started slipping after 25k miles. I don't know if that was the original clutch on the car or not so it could have had previous wear. Regardless, the clutch just wasn't made to handle that sort of power on a long term basis. You might be forced to either look at a custom setup or be prepared to change your clutch out on a regular basis.
