Has anyone done the hood, the trunk, and the lip spoiler in carbon fiber? I found a few pics of each on seperate threads but nothing all together. I'm thinking of just dropping a grand and doing it all. My car is Anthracite.

The CF would look really good with the Anthracite. The trunk will look good with a de-badge with only the A on there.

 

Has anyone seen a CF hood with the Red 03 CL-S? I would be interested to know how it would look. Part of me says it would be cool, the other part just thinks tasteless.

you wont find the cf lip spoiler, i've tried, ended up purchasing a knock-off w/ LEDs and was going to get it painted, but it's been sitting in storage for over a year.

How is your CF hood wearing? I read here about the engine heat messing up the finish.

i don't like carbon fiber on SMR but that lip spoiler might look good on someone like CleanCL's or artbrans' car since they have NBPs with cf trunks

 

i think the lip spoilers look stupid anyway, i wouldnt put it on.

the finish actually isnt bad, just one little spot on the clearcoat that is getting hazy, and near the grill there is some slight stress cracks in the clearcoat from being slammed close. i wanted to get them clearcoated, and IMO that would have been perfect and probably kept the finish nice.

 

So has there been an Anthracite with a CF hood/trunk? I tried looking around a little but could not find one.

That should make up for the sub and amp in the back!

and the carbon looks better in the daylight after a nice wash and wax.

 

mine is the one with the hood though. i dont like the carbon trunk.

I am thinking of the trunk still. Will run about $580 including shipping. Then getting a carbon fiber lip spoiler. Not sure what to do with my current trunk, however. I hear that sometimes the carbon fiber gel on the hood flakes off from the heat of the engine.
