Look ahead, look ahead, look ahead. Make sure you remove anything loose from the car so it doesn't move around when you're on course. Have fun and let us know how you do.

Be prepared to replace your tires and brake pads sooner than you were originally anticipating.

Check tire pressures. Run a little more air in the fronts than usual.
Drive smoothly.
Do good so it reflexs well on all CL's!

take pics of the course and if you got someone on the side, have them take pics of your car!

- 38psi up front 32psi in the rear
- look ahead...and most importantly look out the side windows. I know it sounds weird, but you will most likely look out your side windows than your winshield.
- bring a certified helmet. You won't be able to run if you don't have one. look on scca's web site for more info
- make sure your battery is secure
- tell them you are a novice...i know it makes you sound like a pussy, but trust me, it only helps.
- walk the course with a veteran racer...there should be a novice coordinator there.
- enjoy your self

Autocrossing was badass. I messed up on the first run and at the end i started losing it because i was going to fast. Right now i am thinking about what would have happened it i had stock tires. I got to ride in some sweet cars, a NSX, 2 Z28, talon all wheel drive, and a badass C4 vette. My shoulder is a bit sore because the vette had some sweet brakes. I think that i am going back tomorrow to get timed because today was a pratice.

I got the results. I finished first in my class but it was only out of two people and he DNF'ed every one of his runs. http://tamscc.tamu.edu/autox/fall02/autox1fall02.htm
I am listed in the GS class under Mike Retit, they messed up on my name.

If you look that the PAX Adjust i still did pretty well. I need to get a second set of rims for this shit because it is too much fun to only do once and i am going to eat up my tires.
