Getting wet in the CL...

I am not one to usually start stupid posts, but this is something that always made me laugh about our CL.

I have all my windows down and sunroof open because the weather was 80 and sunny. Of course with nice weather, you get those dead bugs all over your windshield.

Anyhow, I go and spray my windshield with my wiper fluid.... Sure enough, I get a complete shower from the canon of a jet spray hitting the windshield and drenching me through the sunroof.

Of course I am wearing a white dress shirt with a tie and end up having blue windshield fluid marks all over my work clothes.

Gotta love the windshield jets of the CL....

P.S
I was also thinking, if we can change the small rubber tubes of the fluid dispenser with thicker PVC piping and get more water to spray out, we can have some wet t-shirt contests in the passenger seat of the CL.

I guess its different on all cars, but mine seem like they are actually aimed too low. Maybe because its not a type-S

Ha, its the extra power of the CL-S causing more of an updraft for the fluid. Damn CL-S....

nozzles are adjustible. just stick a pin into the hole where the fluid comes out and adjust to your liking.

pits200- that has happened to me plenty of times. I never think before I do that, and everytime I get sprayed. Luckily my passengers have been cool with it.

Mine hits the window fine but the wipers push it to the driver side and then it drips in the driver side window a lil bit unless your doin' 60mph+.

Ha, and voting for your favorite body panel is something that is genius.

Sorry for the mistake, I will try to start more high quality threads such as "which speaker is your favorite in the CL."

Its all good...

I am actually suprised that more people don't have this problem.

I also have a 2000 TL and it has the same issue when the sunroof is open.

Maybe the dealership is playing a joke on me>... I can see it now as they watch me from the service bay laughing their asses off at me as I go and clean my windshield.
