Getting my stuff installed tommorow
Getting my stuff installed tommorow
Finally. Car is loaded and ready to be dropped off at the shop.
Comptech Springs
Adjustable Struts
Comptech Sways
Comptech Headers
Comptech Exhaust
Comptech Braided Brake Lines
Injen Intake
I hope they can finish it all in one day as I hate leaving my car anywhere with all the stereo equipment in it.
Now I am just trying to find the perfect set of rims.

I can guarantee you will be driving like a mofo when you pick up your car with the mods installed!
I'd hate to be the car next to you at the light...I know your ass will be racing everyone you see.

Enjoy those mods, they are all worth it

Yes it will be nice but I am a bit spoiled by my other car as it has almost 500 HP and pulls over 1 G on the skidpad.
But yes I will enjoy the car.
Also I think they are Koni struts

I have the car. I picked it up last night. The results:
Springs
The car looks good in the front but the rear is jacked up like stock. The shop informed me that the spring pearches have 2 positions and the choose the higher to compensate for my stereo equipment. The are readjusting them for free soon.
The ride is VERY good. Just like everyone says, like stock but tighter. By far the best lowered car I have ever been in. The Comptech springs are great! I am not sure how much the Konis add to the ride, however.
Headers
Great, very good looking. No leaks.
Mufflers
Looks better than I thought they would. I almost regreted buying them before I had them installed. I loved the way the stock exhaust looked with its smooth oval tips. However on my black car the chrome looks so good! Very nice subtle touch from the rear of the car. However I am dissapointed that the tips are not even. One side sticks out farther than the other. I called Comptech yesterday and they sent me out a replacement muffler. I ordered a replacement for the side that seems to stick out to far. I hope that is the problem as I would want both to stick out that far.

Not sure yet. During lane changes the car feels flatter. I have not had many good corners to take yet. The one corner I did take fast I thought the car had much more understeer than before. I hope that is not the case. I will update after a few more days.
Brake lines
Cannot tell what-so-ever. I guess the factory stuff is fine. ALso I haven't had to use them hard yet.
Intake.
Mixed on this. I think it is WAY TOO LOUD! Over 5K the car screams. You can hear all kinds of sucking noise at idle as well as at low speeds. It really takes alot of the refinement out of the car. I took my friend for a ride in the car today and he loved the sound of it. He said it was the best sounding car he has ever heard. I may need to get used to it.
Performance
Big difference above 5,500 rpm. The car gets real fast. You really can tell. Feels like a different car. Under 5,500 rpm I think it is a bit slower but not 100% sure.
