Gateshifting from 3 - 4 tonight...
got ansy and practiced my gateshifting timing...1-2 fine...2-3 fine...3-4 is another story...i was about 6K when i shifted...would not shift until i physically laid off the throttle, which was around 6,500...heard this was somewhat normal...just looking for confirmation that my tranny is alright

Same thing happens to me on the 3-4 shift, but I do it in SS mode. The shift takes a relatively long time compared to the 2-3 shift, probably the same time as yours does (i.e. if I upshift at 6000, it shift at around 6400). I hope this is normal.
