i just wanted to rant for a second...the premium gas price in my town just rose to $1.77/gal....jesus christ, it now costs me a little over $25 to fill my damn tank...looks like my baby will be getting mid-grade a few times a month now....

thats crazy. Here its $1.72 for 89 octane, and for 93 its over $1.90

crazy, which is why it would be nice to have a crazy displacement turbo desil with like 600 ft. lb's of torque

I just paid $1.98 for 91 "PREMIUM" the other day

I don't think premium has ever been as low as 1.77 here...

PHEW, glad I'm not in the bay area anymore for once. Still nearly $2/gal. for 91 here though. Let's all be thankful we drive Hondas!
A little lighter on the right foot can save a lot at the pump too... I am averaging over 27mpg in my CL.

I just paid 1.71 for Mobil Super yesterday, but less then 2-Weeks ago I remember paying 1.55 at the same gas station.

I don’t mind.
It’s worth it to see all the humongous SUV’s paying 40 bucks or more for a fill up.
I hope it goes up to 2.75 a gallon when the bombs start dropping in Iraq.

With any luck, my commute will be 1/4 of what I drive now in 2-3 months. < 20 miles a day will be nice. :P

Less gas, less insurance, less mileage =

$1.75 here...

Not too bad. People flock over here from Cook county (Chicago) where it's upwards of $2.15/gallon.

Who is near the San Diego area Mobil station that is known as the most expensive in the nation? It's on the corner of La Jolla Village Drive and Villa La Jolla Drive across from the UCSD campus in La Jolla, CA.

What's premium like there? $3.00?

thanks for the correction
i always thought that everything was bigger in the states.
hahahaaa

1 Imp. Gal. =1 .201 U.S. gal. which is almost a half a litre bigger

so price is 80+80+80+40=$2.80

today gas went up 90 cnts a litre

so price is 90+90+90+45=$3.15

I paid $1.66 per gallon for 91 octane...and I only go with Chevron.

For the Canadians...that's $1.50 Canada to $1.00 US...so $3.15 Canadian is like $2.10 US...still over the $2 mark!

I am QUITE SURE that resident bush and vice resident Cheny think gas prices are just fine, in fact, maybe a bit too low. But that is OK. We will go to IRAQ and steal some. That will increase their percent share of the holdings, after the oil wells are "nationalized."

Meanwhile, Osama and Kim Jung (mentally) Il, remain real problems, and remain ignored. Can't find Sammy, and North Korea has no oil. I guess it is no problem that N. Korea announced today that it can reach the west coast of the USA with a nuclear missle. Don't worry. Be happy.

We are paying about $1.59 for regular (which I use in my '98 2.3CL - no ill effects) here in southern New hampshire. I'm just glad that I can get 34MPG!
