G35 muffler....on Accord?

would it be possible to custom fabricate the hangers on a G35's muffler to hang from an Accord V6? after that, should just be pipe bending....

anyone ever seen/tried this?

Why is everyone obsessed with the sound of the G35?

And for everyones information, the ENGINE makes that sound, it's not just the mufflers.

So put the engine in the car and you will get the sound you want.

haha yeah why did u post this on our forum?

but to answer your question I mean it's possible to fit any exhaust on any car really with the proper mods - as long as the can is a similar size, not sure on that one. Any exhaust shop should be able to do it for you.

But yeah ChrisQ is right. You might even get closer to the VQ sound using a different exhaust set up instead of infiniti's if that is what you are dead set on. Go hit up a more appropriate forum and you'll probably get more responses.

Talking

True, I fu want the Gt sound u wud have to go custom all the way, that swap will not do it.
There are varialble that dont work in ur favour.
\back pressure (engine specific)
\Lenght of piping (somehow relative to lenght of car)
\Diameter of piping

play with those and see where it takes u
........but i dont think the sound of the G35 is an easy transplant (NO Nip\TucK Here)

I take it you refering to the single setup G35 mufflers? If so then you can try getting thsoe and getting a good flowing exhaust thats quiet at the same time.

Otherwise you'll have to search on what other people have felt gives them that unique G35 sound.

Watch someone post: I want that G37 sound, or G37 muffler on Accord?

Since this isn't about the 2nd Gen CL, it doesn't belong here...

Please feel free to report the question in cartalk (but watch out for the flames):
