Does anyone have any info on the future CL models? Next major changes and when?

AS stated many times previously, Acura generally sticks with the same design for 5 years. For 2002 the CL will lose the Sundance Gold, and will adopt the dark blue.
Also, the door handles will become the same color as the car, no longer in silver.

I would say that a face lift should be here for the 2004 model (that is in 2003). But as for powertrain, I would not expect any changes till then. We are very competitive in that respect.

I agree that there won't be maor changes for several years there may be a few HP gains along the way but nothing much and Manual is iffy anyways. As for rumored RWD (from complete idiots at ot and so on) will not happen at least utill the next over haul to much changing of stuff

i think the cl-s changes are probably sooner than expected, as the tl is probbly gonna change soon (it's 4 years when 2002's come out) and the cl will change shortly after that...

if the tl's keep a 5 year thing, it'll change in 2003 ('99,'00,'01,'02,late '03 intro for '04 model). then the cl's will probably be introduced in late '04 as an '05 model, which will make it only 4 years.

it's actually gaining a year 'cuz it's not skipping a year like the last gen did (came out 2 years after tl was out rather than 1 year)...but it also came out early '00 as an '01 instead of mid to late '00 as most cars would. so a late '04 intro for an '05 model would make it only 3 years and some months old rather than the usual 5.

but then again, this is only my theory, and i'm basing this on the fact that the tl and cl share enough parts to make a redesign easier (as with tl-s coming out 1 year after cl-s).
