The other week I was cruising along a rural 4 lane highway in the wrx. At a stoplight a Cobra, probably 99-up model year pulls up. The guy starts to rev on me, the exhaust definitely sounds aftermarket, I'm not sure what else he had though. I look over and its a guy with his girlfriend in the car. I decide to go for it. So I start preloading boost to get a good launch on him. The light turns green and I pull on him hard. He seems to get a decent start. I pull about 3-4 cars on him off the line and I'm able to pull a couple more on him till about 80. At this point I decide to let him catch up so I can give him a thumbs up, funny thing is the fool thinks I'm still racing and that he is actually starting to pull on me. At this point I gun it again and start playing with him. I keep throttle blipping on him and am able to easily pass him with ease. We actually got up to speeds of 130mph. Keep in mind this is a desolate rural area, no cross streets for 4-5 mile stretches. I finally got bored and let him take off on his merry way. I have to do one more thing though. I pull next to him and honk my horn, he looks over and I start laughing. His girlfriend looks at him and starts laughing too. That was one of the funniest kills I had in awhile. Dude was probably pissed off, getting smoked by a lil' old station wagon.

Hehe, ya, I was too lazy to post it until today. I think were gonna go to the track in a couple of weeks. Scott is gonna bring the vette to get timed also.

I just met my buddy @ the bars...he bought a new WRX back in August (sedan) w/ a phatty discount cuz his dad works for SIA.....all i gotta say is HOLY SHEEYIT THAT THING HAULS!!! He's done a bunch of mods- that thing sounds sooo tough yo! He just got an Injen intake to compliment his Tanabe 3" Racing Medallion Exhaust. I tell ya what, AWD kicks major buttocks fo sho. Anyways, he's added an awesome body kit and just installed his headlight conversion....the WRX is an amazing car! Can't wait for the arrival of the Evo!!! All the pics i have of his ride are over 40Kb, but i can email ya some. You have any pics of yer ride?
