I hate to burst everyones bubble. But the VIN has nothing to do with sequence. The manufacturers do this on purpose. The VIN's are more likely closer to the order date, than the DOM. While in build process, the car gets a "tracking" number, those are sequential, not the VIN.

Scrib & Baked...when were your production dates??? (look for something like 2/00 printed on one of the ID stickers on the driver's side door cut-out)
