I was washing my car the other day and noticed this gouge. No idea how it happened. I'm worried about it rusting, does anyone know how much this might cost to get fixed? It's deep, but it's actually quite small, so I was also thinking about maybe just using touch-up paint to prevent rusting.. any thoughts?

craig I almost duplicated your scar today!

When putting the 19"s back on i lost grip of the torque wrench and it flew against the fender lip! Luckily no damage I could see as the sun went down...

Touch-up paint should work in making it less visable, or you could have your quarter-panel painted and blended.

Ohhh...the tears are flowing. I'm getting my trunk re-painted on Monday....I'll be out of a car for a week....I'd take it to the dealer and have someone look at it real quick and see what they say as for repairs....

So you guys would actually suggest bringing it to the dealer as opposed to a body shop?

I didn't even know it existed! I scratched up the fender on my accord coupe on a post in a parking garage.. Would have been useful then too!
