FT 550 on 6spd CLS

Just dropped off my CLS6 at Trinity Tuning in htx for a custom harness fueltech 550 and dyno tune they are having my dash removed then 3d printed and setting the digital display in that.
76mm blox billet tb, p2r b to j tb adapter and iac, ported j35 magnesium alloy manifold, p2r ported lower runners, egr delete, p2r long tube headers and j pipe, 2.5inch out the back no cats and one 20 inch vibrant muffler.
I'm also running Nitto nt555 g2 235/45/17 couldn't grip before I got those also have some Eibach lowering springs waiting to be put on after the tune
Side note i had real issues with traction after putting the bolt ons on but knowing the first owner shrunk the rear springs it messes the whole weight transfer up causing the front tires to want to lift up
Hoping to put down close to 300whp will provide updates and videos when I can

Fuel tech huh? gl with that. How much are you paying for the harness ? Stock cams & bottom end?

235s are pretty narrow for aggressive launches. Used to run those when CLS was mostly stock. Then 245/40s, even those used to spin 1st pretty easy, esp when supercharged. I'd recommend 200tw tires in 255/40 if you can fit them.

Harness was 1500$ there also 3d printing my dash to have the digital display set into my dash properly, and yes stock motor and cams. My plans for the cams is the best cam that halflander sells for me and a valvetrain then just gap the piston rings some I have a m90 Eaton i wanna use eventually for low boost but much that's not for awhile id say.
I'm aware that ill probably spin but I'm limited to my wheel for now

yeah, I guess stock CLS wheels are limited. Have those on 2000 prelude. Like the 3G TLS wheels for oem upgrade.
old pic with 245/40s...

Are they '3d printing' the whole upper instrument panel, like the one below:

Or are they 3d printing something in the instrument panel garnish area circled in yellow below?

Make sure to get a picture, when it's finished, and post it here in your thread.

The yellow portion and maybe only the upper yellow portion where your speedo and etc would be idk about the radio and whatnot.
I was supposed to have a picture today of something but we will see and I will be posting them.

Until I'm spinning in every gear again like I was before the nittos or something close to that nature I think ill get some 3g wheels or just some real nice wheels and burn a hole in my pocket more
My eibach springs should help with launching but I haven't got them on yet.

If you are having any wheel hop, with all that spinning, the radius rod bushings below may help reduce it over the soft OEM bushes:
Moog K9733

Or Energy Suspension Polyurethane part # 16.7103:

Happy to see my images are being used as good references to show others lol.
Another way to reduce wheel hop is by upgrading the engine dampers, at least from what I've read. Not sure who makes aftermarket ones, haven't gotten that far yet. But I plan to upgrade them in the future.

Quick question by any chance you know who to buy a lightweight crank pulley set ?
cant seem to find any for the first gen motors that's not off eBay, don't know if I trust that.

I wouldn't think there's a difference between the first gen motors crank pulley vs later gens when it comes to aftermarket. Should all work the same. But should probably have some one else verify that. I got mine from Zeta, so I wouldn't know where to look now-a-days since the ones I have no longer produced.

It would have to be a pulley with the inner rib for a belt. The newer pulleys will hit the edge of the oil pump/pan.

If they are in stock, better get em while they're hot.

Showed orderable on their site. Guess would have to call to confirm.

Curious if UR is aware of issues when paired with a light flywheel? In other words too little mass.
