Frustrated with Brakes!!
Is it just me? Or am I missing some type of vital information? I can't seem to find ANY replacement rotors for my 01' CL-S that are not "OEM".
The only exception has been talking to Wood at RaceConcepts. However the EMC rotors are not guaranteed at all and judging from all the complaints on the group buy, I can't purchase them with confidence.
So, I'm REALLY frustrated right now... I can't believe that there is no replacement for this car! If that is the case, that means I have to go to a "Big Brake Kit" which, of course costs major money (not something I feel I should have to do). And I'm not confident enough to just have the rotors turned at Acura only to see the warping problem come up again in a month.
So, does ANYBODY have any suggestions? I would like to get a good set of rotors, front and rear. If that is absolutely unavailable, what would you suggest for a big brake kit that will do a good job and will fit my stock 17" rims? I don't want to spend a ton of money on this, so, anything anybody can recommend to get the price down would be very helpful. Thanks!
