Front Wheel Bearing Replacement....

Attempted to replace my front-left wheel bearing this evening following this DIY https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/wheel-bearing-diy-620807/
Unfortunately without success. I got stuck trying to remove the axle nut. My buddy brought his torque wrench which is rated for 125lbs. We managed to brake the tip on it(don't ask how, we just did). He was lucky though because it's a craftsman and he can get it replaced. We then tried my Ace hardware socket wrench just for shits and giggles with a pipe for leverage....yep...broke it too. So I decided to fork over the money and get an impact wrench at Home Depot. All the pneumatic ones were too expensive, so I found an electric DeWalt rated at 345lbs. Should do the job!? Nope that didn't work either. We even used a half a can of WD-40 trying the whole spray-wait-try-spray-wait-try game. Looks like I will have to take it to a shop and see if they can break it loose for me. If I can get a shop to break it loose, I will take pictures of the whole process and post them so we can have a decent DIY on this.

You were using a torque wrench to remove the nut?

Yeah, I know...Didn't have anything else though and it wasn't mine, so I didn't care.

try a good 3/4 ratchet with a 6 point socket and a 4' breaker bar (home depot steel pipe). also use PB blaster instead of WD40, WD does nothing for you here.

comming from the TL side, i do believe i got a wheel bearing prob on my front left, when i turn right, load on the left side it hums, and hums straight from 0-80 then goes away..but the thing that gets me is that the steering wheel vibrates at times from 100+, did u guys whoever had a bad bearing had a vibrating steering wheel or the cabin vibrate?

yeah. use some pb blaster, and get youself a decent length breaker bar. itl come off after that, You use a torque wrench to tighten nuts/bolts to a certail spec, not remove them..

Update: Shop up the street broke it loose, but they even said it was on there pretty good. Breaker Bar will be purchased!!! I've always been a "learn the hard way" person.
Also, ABS sensor would not come off for nothing. We ended up breaking it trying to get it off. Other than that the instructions were on point. Lower arm was a ***** to get off but after beating the shit out of it and getting bigger muscle to drive the separator it finally came. Then the knuckle came right off. Taking it to to a shop tomorrow to get pressed out and get the new one pressed in.

MurdaZ: Mine starting making noises only when turning in one direction. Then it started making noises 0-30MPH, then it was all the time. I hated being that guys whose car made a constant noise down the street. I never noticed any vibration though, but then I never took it over 80MPH after I found out it was the wheel bearing going bad anyways.

I had a loud humming noise while driving. No vibration really.

but had the rears done alrdy, those were obvious, this one is tricky, but plan on replacing it too since it does make the noise no matter what, the vibration comes and goes.
