Is the front swaybar really needed??

We installed neuspeed swaybars on my friend's Prelude the other day, both front and back. We both took it for a hard drive and WHOA...HUGE UNDESTEER!! It took some getting used to. but we decided to take it off and just leave the rear one.

When we returned it to Neuspeed they mentioned that they have quite a few returns for the front because usually front sways aren't needed for our cars since they are FWD.

So to those with comptech sways ever feel understeer? Anyone try just putting in the rear? It seems logical that it is not needed because we are FWD. BUt after driving with the rear only, I have to say it's much easier to drift into turns in his car now!!

I know drifting is pretty fun, but I really don't want my car driffing on local roads or highways,

I think the front Sways from Comptech are actually very simalr to the Stock TypeS's sways. but not for the cl-p or tl-p's. I jsut used both front and rear for me and love it.

Understeer or Oversteer. Oversteer is what Mustangs do, understeer is what usually happens to FWD. Which did you have? Oversteering is more fun.

He decided on Neuspeed for his car. Neuspeed for Ludes is quality stuff. I'm probably getting Comptech for mine. Just wondering what the point of the front one is. Seems highly uneccesary.
