Lightbulb front/rear turn signal lights

no. i'm not asking for the part number and stuff.. i already did the research.. i know what kind of bulbs i'm supposed to get.. well here's my problem..
i have 2001 CL and just got the 2003 tail light casings since i got rear ended and needed to replace them. i got the car back today and i noticed that rear turn signal light's color was different from the front turn signal light. i seemed to me the rear turn signal lights were more white in appearance, while the front were amber colored. sooooo.....

1) is it just me or are they really different?

2) i was thinking about replacing all of them with polarg or PIAAs.. but not sure whether i should get the white/hyper white bulbs or amber, since there are A LOT of cops around my neighborhood and i don't want to get pulled over for something this little. did any of you guys/girls had any run-in with the law in regards to signal light bulbs?

any input from your experiences would be helpful.. thanks

hmm.. well unless you have cleared out headlights then yea the front is def gonna be different

white/hyper white turn signals on an acura looks tacky to me

i also think the 01-02 all red rear tails look a lot nicer

03 Tail lamps have a clear turn signal lens so the factory bulbs are amber.I imagine they put clear bulbs like your 01 tail lamps had.
