Front and rear Mount install 6 spd

Anybody ever do this before? got my innovative mounts today and would like to install them. The side one is super easy but front and rear im not too sure about. I printed up the honda instructions for installing there improved front mount and it doesnt look to bad except i dont have a screw jack like what there using to lift the tranny up a bit for clearance to get to a 3rd bolt. Can i just use a normal jack? And as far as the rear, that looks like a total pain in the ass, any pointers or shouldi pay someone for that one? Acura wants 375.00 for front and rear install and thats a lot of money, more than i paid for all 3 actual motor mounts. Any advice or tips or diy would be greatly appreciated

I have only taken the side off before. It was a bitch with hand tools. I couldn't budge the bolts even with a breaker bar. I had to get air tools.

i have removed the rear mount and posted some tips in the GB thread.

"here is my removal experience to help get y'all started.

there is not much room to swing a ratchet and the bolts into the frame are tight. have plenty of PB Blaster and be prepared to spend tons of time laid across the hard motor. i had to remove the top sway and the fuse box at the top left of the engine compartment to make room for my arms and to turn he ratchet. the rear engine damper will also need to be removed to gain access to one of the mount bolts. upon pulling the heavy oem mount out you will need to bend the heater hose bracket to make room to swing that monster out."

ive done the side before, and it was way easy for me. The rear sounds as if i may be taking it to the dealer for that. What about the front? Is it hard to do? can i use a standard jack to lift the transmission? Does the side mount need to be off for the front mount to go on?

The back is definitely tight, sides much easier to access IMO. Please don't take it to the delearship, in my experience they always try to maximize profits and minimize efforts...Not that I blame them for this, but it doesn't always positively effect the customer, especially in the wallet area. I think a good Asian private mechanic could get the job done for $200 or so.
