Front end noise

So over the past few months i've noticed that my Cl has been making a creaking noise from the front end while turning at low speed. For the most part it has done this when the car is cold but now it's begun to do it even while warm and has gotten louder. Any ideas on what it might be?

Groaning kind of noise, somewhat like metal under strain? I get it too. I only really get it when starting it up in the morning after it has sat for the longest time. Recently I notice that mine makes a sort of snapping noise when I reverse and turn left or right. I am suspecting CV joints are/have gone...

Starting to wonder if I should flog it on Craigslist before I get any major issues or keep it and fix it seeing as I have already dumped about $800 in repairs since April and the 105k service will most likely need doing too..

I am also getting what Dspr is getting. Especially the reversing part. When I would parallel park..reversing/forwarding, I would get that noise. Anyone else who has experienced this know what it is and what you replaced?
