Front Bumper Tag

I've had the front bumper tag on my car since I bought it and noticed the other day that while driving it obviously moves because my bumper is all scratched up. I want to take it off but my bumper looks really crappy now. What do you guys think it would take to get fixed? It's not too terrible but noticable on a black car. I definetly don't want to replace the bumper, could it be sanded and repainted? How much would that cost? Just trying not to spend a fortune. Thanks fellas.

Once someone replies or you find an answer, pm me too. I been dying to take my front tag off but, I have the white scratches too. If i could do it again, i would rather get pulled over by the cops for not having one, then to have one and it scrapes up your bumper. Zaino and other product can not get those scratches out.

right now, i'm using about 5 layers of masking tape all around the edges to keep the cover from scratching, but i'm going to get something like black double-sided tape that'll blend in more real soon...when i wash/wax, i take the tag off and load up that area to help prevent future scratching

I can answer that exactly as I had my front bumper cover replaced due to being hit in a parking lot. The total was $712.00. A couple of notes for you. Since the car is so new there are no generic parts. Any body shop can only buy from American Honda. American Honda paint is expensive. The body shop bought just enough paint to cover the bumper cover and it was $180. Almost as much as the bumper cover itself! Good Luck!

Front Bumper

Someone hit the bumper on my wife's 2002 TL. There was basically a large scratch. My body shop took out the scratch and repainted the bumper for $ 175.00. He said Pearl White was a pain in the ass and would require a 3 step process. Anyway, I know the guy and I think he gave me a break.
